One great aspect of the new AHS is that it was designed to align with our mission to engage, challenge, and inspire. Usually when you need a Plumber it's an emergency and they are hard to find! In Bristol County there are 80 unfilled positions annually that pay almost $90,000. Our CTE Plumbing program graduates 20 students per year to fill those needs. Starting as an Apprentice, Journeyman, to Master Plumber, these students are building skills and experience to become financially independent.

Staff met today to brainstorm how the District's Portrait of a Graduate aligns with our AHS Core Values. #ThisIsAttleboro
Part of the APS mission is to create students who will "improve our world". Have to start with the basics like we saw today with 9th grade House 2 students learning about the Bill of Rights. #thisisattleboro
Each year we select the Attleboro High School DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Good Citizen Award. All members of the faculty were asked to choose up to three seniors who best exemplify, in school, home, and community, the outstanding qualities of:
Dependability
Service
Leadership
Patriotism
Several members of the senior class were nominated. The students on this list have received the greatest number of votes. It is now time for the senior class to nominate this year's finalist. Please nominate the senior who, in your opinion, best demonstrates the above qualities and fill the below form by 2:00 on October 5. The finalist will be asked to compete in the state and national competitions by filling out a National Society DAR questionnaire.
