Happy Wednesday from AHS!

Can't find the teacher? That's because these students in Mr. Murphy's World History class are working collaboratively with Mr. Murphy traveling to each group for support. At AHS we embrace student centered learning where the students are the focal point of the lesson and the teacher is the facilitator of the learning experience. Collaborative learning in action. #thisisattleboro

AHS Juniors and Seniors in action at the largest College and Career Fair in school history. Over 100 vendors representing a mix of higher education, the military, and careers for our students to explore. Inspiring our youth about their future at Attleboro High School-

Did you know that completing the Free and Reduced lunch application also helps to determine eligibility for P-EBT benefits and can waive or reduce transportation, athletics, testing, and other fees? Even though meals are free this school year, families who believe they qualify should complete the 23-24 MA Application for Free and Reduced Price Meals on the APS Food Services website or online here: https://www.attleboroschools.com/o/aps/page/food-services2

Reminder to Student Drivers: Lot C will be closed tomorrow (Thurs, Sept 21) due to the College & Career Fair. You may park in D Lot, the Highland Lot (off Rathbun Willard Drive), or at Drummond Field. Do NOT park in A Lot, B Lot, or on streets. Please carpool & allow yourself plenty of time in the morning. Thank you.

One of the great things about AHS is our ability to offer our students so many different options while simultaneously providing supports and structure to help them along the way. One way we do this is by having our 9th graders take a class called High School 101 that helps provide an introduction to the high school experience. Ms. Keane's HS 101 students all interviewed an adult in their life and completed a project about what it means to be successful. Here they are sharing their projects with each other and determining how to apply these lessons to their high school career. #thisisattleboro

Some successful spaghetti towers for problem solving intro day in Physics, Astronomy, and the 2030 project classes.

Hard work done by all.
Shout out to JV 💙
